Exam Period Winter Semester 2023/24!
Don’t forget about the general regulations when it comes to registering and de-registering for your exams! We have gathered the most important points for you to check and keep in mind:

Don’t forget to Re-Enroll for Summer Semester 2024!
Remember: even if you are not currently actively pursuing your lectures, you need to stay enrolled at the University! If you do not re-enroll, you will lose your study place and student status! This means that you will have officially cancelled your studies. Should you have any questions on this, please contact your Student Success Manager!
To re-enroll for the Summer Semester 2024, please pay your semester contribution fee (Semesterbeitrag) to RWTH Aachen University. Pay attention to the Registrars Office’s (Studierendensekretariat) deadline!

Language Course Program in Lecture-Free Period
RWTH Langauge Center is offering language courseses in its intensive course program during the lecture free period in February/ March. If you have not yet taken the curricular Language Course or wish to take an extra-curricular language course, please note the new dates:
In February/ March the following levels for German are being offered: A1.1, A1.2, A2.2 and B2/C1.
Registration period: 13. – 19.02.2024.
Placement tests available: 09. – 14.02.2024

Are you in your 8th semester? Do you need a document for the extension of your residence permit?
Please submit the below form to your Academic Advisor. They will fill in the necessary information for you.

Your Student Success Managers offer individual and personal appointments. You can choose if you would like to meet online or in person. They will support you with any question regarding your studies. e.g.:
- administrative aspects
- academic regulations
- courses registration
- your course schedule and study plan
- exams and exam registration
- tuition fees and financial issues
⚠ Please note: We do not offer open office hours. If you wish to speak to your Student Success Manager in person, you need to make an appointment beforehand. If your question is urgent, please contact us by phone. We will not receive students who arrive at our office unannounced and expect you to comply without discussion if our staff ask you to leave. Thank you for understanding!

We offer four different scholarships to our enrolled students:

If you are interested in applying, please stay informed by regularly visiting our scholarship website, where you will find the scholarships’ regulations, application details and our application portal.
Remember to read the regulations carefully and thoroughly, to prepare your every application well and especially to mind the application deadline!
Should you be the recepient of another scholarship, please make sure that receiving one of our scholarships and awards will not contradict with the regulations of the scholarship you are already receiving and thus might cause you to loose funding from your first scholarship.
